Welcome to the home of The Bowljo

First it was a couple of canjos, then some experiments that focused on technology (ha ha), and then in 1992, I made my first Bowljo. Third time is a charm, you see, the third Bowljo solidified my vision of the instrument, and players and listeners seem to like it. I really love it!

Eight strings and a Sitar sound suits my style. It plays just like a guitar really, and a few players use the slide on it. I play it every Thursday night in this little bar on Hilltop; The Monsoon Room. I've made a few and sold a few. Some people think I could get rich with it. I just like to play it

Just a poor boy's Sitar, I have a love for indian music and grew tired of tuning my acoustic guitar to drone-chords. I went looking for that thing that makes strings sound that way and ended up forming my own solution since there are no guru's in northwest U.S.A.

I guess it's me now.
